The following pictures are of the new layout that we are building. The layout is an on going project. So, please keep in mind. That when you look at the pictures. There have been additional work done to it. Intentions are, to have pictures on here to show how the layout would like if you were actually there.

The layout is 16.5 feet by 22 feet, and represents the area extending from Newport News to Richmond, during the Steam to Diesel era of the late 50's to early 60's. It is being built in sections, so that the layout can be taken apart, for the move back to Lee Hall Depot. More pictures will be added here to show the progress that is being made.

The back side of the layout will have a hidden yard. This way, it will give the illusion of the trains coming from no where. The trains will be coming out of the hidden yard to the three legs of the layout. The side of the backboard facing the three legs of the layout will be scenic.
